How to Make an Appointment
Appointments can be made over the telephone or by calling in person or using our on-line service. Every day emergency appointments are available, if you feel you may need one of these, please phone as early as possible after 8.00am when you will be offered and expected to accept the next available appointment that day.
PLEASE NOTE - To deal effectively with your request, it may be necessary and helpful to the Doctor, for the receptionist to ask questions about your condition.
All staff members are bound by the same rules of confidentiality. It would be appreciated if you co-operated with this request.
Please inform the receptionist if you wish to make an appointment for a clinic or special check such as:
- Cervical Smear
- Heart Check
- Diabetic Clinic
- Chest/Lung Check
- Well person check.
Remember to cancel your appointment if it is no longer required, it can then be used for someone else. Currently, we are losing the equivalent of one full time GP's appointments a week over the period of one month. This is having a big effect on our ability to provide timely appointments.
Patient Services - Online Booking Service
If you would like to sign up for our on-line booking service, please complete our on-line form, found on the right-hand panel of this page. At the moment this service is available for a standard 10 minute GP appointment, also some Flu Clinics.
